I am a Principal Consultant at Certeco currently working as a Senior Test Manager.  I have been working in the banking sector for the past few years managing on-shore and off-shore test teams testing Financial Regulatory Changes (including Basel), digital banking and corporate integration.

Working on a client site it’s important to integrate well in order to meet all expectations of Certeco delivery. This can be a balancing act and I really enjoy the challenge, especially when working on high profile programmes. Certeco is a progressive company and I’m encouraged to take on more challenges, to try something new, to work outside my comfort zone and I encourage the people who work for me to do the same. Would I get the same buzz doing the same job the same way year after year? Definitely not!

I think that things will change a great deal in our world over the next five years. Application development will see a radical change, driven by ideas that today seem quite trivial. Testing will see a growth in on-shore test centres rivalling the established off-shore models and I’ll have a role to play in developing the next generation of young testing talent
