HR Manager
My role in Certeco is HR Manager. I joined Certeco as the HR and Office Coordinator in February 2010, four months after the company launched. In the time I have been here, the company has more than quadrupled and many functions have been set up to help support our consultants. Recently I have been promoted to HR Manager and am now part of the Operations and Support Team which consists of IT Support, Office Support, HR and Recruitment.
Certeco is a fast paced and exciting place to work, with staff living the company values and sharing their enthusiasm. Everyone is willing to communicate ideas on how to improve Certeco, which are welcomed and accepted by the Board of Directors.
In my role as HR Manager I am responsible for all parts of the employee life cycle; from getting them on board to supporting all employees once in the company. I am also responsible for launching and administering our benefits package, our HR information system, rolling out company policies and procedures, company line management, performance reviews, and the learning and development process.
Certeco is supporting my development as a HR professional and I am currently studying to gain a CIPD accredited Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development, which I aim to complete in February 2012.
Driving HR forward I aim to support the growth of Certeco and our employees in the future. A key part of this is to create a successful Performance Management System, which supports the continuing development of all our employees. I would also like to help continue and encourage the involvement of all of our staff in creating an exciting, successful and innovative company.
