Job Type – Permanent and Associate

Base Location – UK Wide – our Consultants work on client projects throughout the UK, therefore the location of the work will vary.

Roles & Responsibilities
To establish and manage a Programme Management Office including:

  • Supporting project managers by developing and administering all necessary project controls and provide coaching in their deployment.
  • Coordinating the activities across a programme, maintaining a high level plan of activity and a repository of project scope and progress information.
  • Establishing and maintaining a standard project management framework and ensure adherence to this by project teams.
  • Provide the management team with project information to enable the successful management and control of projects.

Experience Required
Demonstrable and extensive experience in Programme Management delivery across a wide range of differing programmes including large, high risk, complex change projects spanning multiple functions.
Senior management experience (IT and /or Business Change).
Information Technology awareness.
Experience of working successfully with third party vendors.
Full understanding and experience of the project lifecycle (from Inception and Feasibility to Implementation and Rollout).
Various project methodologies.

Desirable Experience
Experience of working in the Financial Services, Banking or Insurance industry is desirable.

Skills Required
Project Management and delivery (min 2 years).
Circa 5 Years experience in a disciplined project environment.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills at all levels, including Board level.
Effective in stressful, rapidly changing and/or challenging environments.
Excellent problem solving, numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent understanding of how to appropriately apply project management methods and techniques.
